About
Through my early adult life, I never had a mentor. I only knew where I wanted to go.
I definitely found out that the world doesn't pay you for your efforts, only the impact. And through the lows and the highs, I realized that only you can change your outcomes, and the mindset you have.
Once you learn that, it takes full accountability to recognize where you're really at — so you can overcome the issues in front of you.
I worked my way up to partner at a pest control company, then into solar, building and leading sales teams the whole way — mistakes and all. I watched the people at the top either burn out or get full of themselves, and I wanted neither. So now I lead a sales downline, still sell on the doors myself, and put the real lessons out in the open — the older brother I wish I'd had.
The moment you claim to be the best, you stop being the best.
